the tall lamp was originally all chrome but I replaced that with the curved bamboo, I also decoupaged the desk tray and the canvas is also my own

Step by step antique chair rescue
I picked up this chair from a car boot a couple of years ago, I've decided to strip all the varnish off of it and wax it to take it back to the original look but then update it with bright modern fabric

Old Project: Medicine Cabinet Makeover
This is a sad old medicine cabinet a friend bought for me to turn into a big box for her jewelry.
i'ts old and tired, it doesnt even have a handle to open the bottom, it wont be for long though
My first step was to remove the old sliding mirrors, then I lightly sanded it as the paintwork didnt have any chips etc, spray primed it and then spray painted it in Rustoleum berry pink
New Project: Mantle Clock
So Today I'm going to show you my latest project, A Smith's mantle clock, I don't know the age, but it could be as old as 1940 or as relatively new as 1970. Amazingly going by the state of the outside it keeps time and chimes perfectly!
first thing I did was to sand everything down which is the stage you can see in the photo, all the varnish was peeling away before that which is not a good surface to start decoupaging on and the roughness will help everything stick
